This walk begins at Alex Hope Elementary School and heads through the adjacent park, then follows the greenway south to Walnut Grove town centre. From there the route continues along Walnut Grove Drive, past James Kennedy Elementary, and loops back up to Alex Hope.

This walk starts at Jamieson Park (76B Ave and 206 Street) near the Parry-Evans Trail, heads north to the northernmost point of Willoughby, then loops back south through the Parry Evans Trail, returning to where we started. The route forms a box around the neighbourhood, giving a comprehensive look at one of Langley's fastest-growing communities.

Michael is a sitting Township of Langley Councillor who completed his Masters of Urban Studies with a thesis on Willoughby, "The Best Laid Plans: Walkability and the Pedestrian Realm in the Willoughby Town Centre." His deep knowledge of this rapidly developing area makes him the perfect guide, sharing insights on growth management, community design, and the balance between density and livability.
